Lake County Department of Economic Growth & Redevelopment’s new Web site is earning rave reviews

TAVARES — In its first two weeks, the Lake County Department of Economic Growth & Redevelopment’s new Web site at egr.lakecountyfl.gov has received more than 1,500 visitors.

“Our new Web site is showing great promise,” said Dottie Keedy, Director of the Lake County Department of Economic Growth & Redevelopment. “The new Web site serves as a platform to highlight some of the economic development opportunities in Lake County.”

In addition, commercial real estate agents have uploaded 60 commercial, industrial and retail properties and undeveloped lots to the Web site’s free “available properties finder” tool. The property finder features detailed information for each listed property including square footage, sale and lease information, location and photographs.

“Grizzard Commercial loves the new Web site,” wrote Lisa Strong Jodray with the Leesburg-based commercial real estate group in an e-mail to the Department of Economic Growth & Redevelopment. “I work on dozens of commercial listing sites and this site is excellent. It took me all of five minutes to load three listings on my first visit to this site.”

Other features of egr.lakecountyfl.gov include County demographics, available business resources and assistance, ability to sign up for the Department’s e-mail newsletter, recent news releases and information on the variety of County, state and federal incentive programs.
