Lake County's economic development director appointed to Florida Redevelopment Association's Board of Directors

TAVARES — Dottie Keedy, Director of the Lake County Department of Economic Growth & Redevelopment, was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for the Florida Redevelopment Association.
The purpose of the association is to promote the improvement of downtown and urban areas through redevelopment and development activities. Membership in the Florida Redevelopment Association is open to both public and private sector, including redevelopment professionals, cities, businesses, counties, consultants, nonprofits, developers, Main Street communities and architects.Keedy, along with 300 other redevelopment officials from all over the state, will be attending the 2007 Florida Redevelopment Association Annual Conference from Oct. 24-26 in Daytona Beach. The meeting will include tours of redeveloped areas in the city, as well as 18 sessions about redevelopment issues at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort.
