SBDC to offer seminar on the basics of marketing

TAVARES – The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UCF-Lake County will offer an opportunity for entrepreneurs to learn some basics of marketing at a free seminar entitled, “Basic Marketing.”

The seminar will help entrepreneurs learn about the four “P’s” of marketing and about new and emerging market mediums. Participants will also learn what feature, benefit and value statements are, and when and where to express them. Also presented will be “Sales 101,” and keys to learning what makes a good sales person.

Registration for the seminar is recommended, as space is limited. The seminar will be offered twice in November at the following locations:

  • Lake-Sumter State College’s North Lake Campus
    9909 U.S. Highway 441, Leesburg
    6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14
