Companies seeking to fill hundreds of positions at South Lake Job Fair

CLERMONT — Job-seekers in south Lake County will get a special opportunity to meet face-to-face with prospective employers offering a variety of jobs from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 6 at the Clermont Community Center, 620 Montrose St., downtown Clermont.
The South Lake Job Fair is expected to draw dozens of employers, with hundreds of openings, who are hiring for full- and part-time positions. There is no charge for employers or job seekers.
The job fair also will include resource providers, such as employment experts from Workforce Central Florida and area career counselors, who offer training options for people who want to advance or switch careers. The South Lake Job Fair is sponsored by the South Lake Chamber of Commerce, Workforce Central Florida, Lake County Office of Economic Development and Tourism, the cities of Clermont, Groveland, Mascotte and Minneola and the town of Montverde.
