Commissioners’ next budget workshop to focus on guidelines, county-maintained facilities

TAVARES — The Lake County Board of County Commissioners will have their next budget workshop at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, in the Board Chambers, on the second floor of the Lake County Administrative Building, 315 W. Main St., Tavares. Residents and business owners are welcome to attend the workshop as officials discuss budget guidelines and county-maintained facilities.

The Commissioners have had several budget workshops in the past few months to prepare for the Fiscal Year 2014 budget. The workshops have focused on key programs within the organization, and helped facilitate discussion on funding of the programs during continued periods of revenue declines for Lake County. The Feb. 12 meeting will be the last in this series of workshops and will be streamed live at lakecountyfl.suiteonemedia.com/web/home.aspx.
