SBDC to offer free seminar entitled ‘Startup Basics’

TAVARES — The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UCF-Lake County, funded by Lake County and residing in Lake County’s Business Opportunity Centers, will be offering in January an opportunity for entrepreneurs to learn how to start a business at a free seminar entitled, “Startup Basics.”
Stan Austin, Area Manager and Certified Business Analyst, will help entrepreneurs understand what it takes to start a business; discuss business plans and the importance of preparing one; and explores the legal entities - sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation and Limited Liability Corporation. The seminar will also help determine the local, state or federal licensing requirements needed to operate.
Registration is recommended as space is limited. The seminar will be offered at two of the three Business Opportunity Centers in Lake County, on the following dates:
